We specialize in crafting bespoke timber frames featuring authentic New England joinery, rooted in timeless European Lowland traditions. Our process begins with a consultation to understand your vision, then we craft a tailored design together—presented in detailed 3D computer models for easy review and refinement.

We partner with professional engineering firms to provide stamped structural approvals. We are also happy to work with your chosen timber frame architect.

Our expertise focuses on the timber frame itself, with the client or their general contractor managing the site work, foundation, and enclosure system.

We build every timber frame using authentic, handcrafted mortise and tenon joinery—the time-tested cornerstone of traditional New England timber framing. This proven method delivers exceptional strength, durability, and timeless beauty, as evidenced by the countless historic barns across New England and Europe that continue to stand strong after hundreds of years.

We meticulously hand-cut each mortise and tenon using traditional hand tools and some power tools to ensure perfect fit and lasting integrity. Our joints are secured with our own hand made oak pegs.

Most of our timber frames are made from local species such as white pine, white oak, and red oak, but we are also able to source non-local species such as douglas fir.

This dedication to heritage craftsmanship results in frames of unmatched quality: rugged, elegant, and crafted to endure for generations.

We pre-fit and assemble your frame in our shop to ensure a smooth and efficient raising day.

Once complete, we transport the components to your site. We then assemble the bents and raise them with a telehandler or crane.

Your frame is then complete, and ready for the next phase of your construction process.
